Empathy-Driven. People-Centric. Performance-Focused.
BEHIND THE PRACTICE

Our Mission & Purpose

Our mission is to help businesses foster cultures of mutual respect, mental wellness, and sustainable success. We believe empowered people build unstoppable businesses — and that the reverse is equally true, that a workplace which quietly erodes its people will eventually see it in the numbers.

Our purpose is to solve the growing disconnect between employee well-being and organisational performance. We empower individuals, protect workplace culture, and build resilient human beings — so that businesses achieve long-term growth, reduce costly turnover, and avoid the legal and reputational risks that follow when culture is left to look after itself.

Anchored in industrial psychology and supported by over 20 years of corporate expertise, we act as a strategic bridge between leadership and employees — understanding both the spoken and unspoken dynamics of today’s workplace, because we have lived them.

Our Experience & Grounding

Our work is anchored in Industrial and Organisational Psychology and behavioural science, and supported by over 20 years of corporate expertise. That combination matters: theory alone does not survive contact with a real workplace, and experience alone tends to repeat itself. We translate complex human challenges into practical, people-centric solutions — reading both the spoken and unspoken dynamics of an organisation, because we have worked inside them.

Mental Wellness & Resilience: Our Core Focus

We believe mental wellness is not a perk — it is a business imperative. Our approach helps employees build inner resilience, emotional intelligence, and psychological flexibility, equipping them to handle stress, change, and complexity with clarity and confidence. A resilient team is a productive team, and our methods are designed so that people do not merely survive the working week but thrive across it.

The Founder

The expertise behind the people-performance strategy.

Shenna Motsuenyane, also known as Czar, is the Founder of Mind Your Power Consulting, a People Performance Strategist, Anti-Toxic Workplace Expert, Workplace Fixer, Professional Facilitator and Speaker dedicated to helping organisations close the gap between employee experience and organisational performance.

With more than 20 years of corporate experience at Standard Bank, she built a multifaceted career across roles including Relationship Manager, Key Account Manager and Senior Account Analyst, giving her first-hand insight into business performance, client relationships, leadership, people and organisational dynamics.

Her corporate leadership extended beyond her formal roles. Shenna served as Gauteng Chairperson for Diversity, Equity, Inclusion & Belonging (DEIB), where she championed more inclusive, equitable and people-centred workplace environments.

She holds a Master’s degree in Industrial & Organisational Psychology and an Advanced Diploma in Management Practices from Henley Business School, combining academic knowledge with more than two decades of lived corporate experience.

Today, she brings that intersection of business, psychology and people into her work as a professional facilitator, speaker, mentor and workplace culture practitioner. Through Mind Your Power Consulting, she helps organisations address the cultural and human factors behind challenges such as low engagement, conflict, leadership gaps, burnout, staff turnover and unhealthy workplace dynamics.

Her facilitation style is practical, experiential and insight-driven, creating the space for people to have the conversations organisations often avoid, while translating those conversations into meaningful action.

Beyond consulting, Shenna is a content creator and media personality, including her work on Wellness Wednesdays on Kgosi FM, using her platforms to influence conversations around leadership, wellbeing, personal growth and healthier workplaces.

Her commitment to impact extends into community development through the Sons To Men Foundation, and she was a Mrs South Africa 2025 Top 30 Finalist.

Why Mind Your Power?

Because organisations cannot achieve sustainable performance by focusing on output while ignoring the people producing it.

Mind Your Power Consulting exists to bridge that gap, helping organisations build cultures where people are empowered, leaders are equipped, and performance becomes sustainable.

Because empowered people build unstoppable businesses.

OUR PROMISE

Stop the Cycle of Hire–Fire–Repeat

Most organisations do not set out to build a difficult culture; it accumulates. Our promise is to help you break that pattern and build a company where the right people arrive, stay, and do their best work — deliberately, rather than by luck.

The Right People Join

Hiring aligned to a culture you have actually defined, so new starters fit the organisation you are building.

The Right Culture Holds

Values that survive pressure, growth, and turnover — because they are built into systems, not posters.

The Right Performance Flows

Output that follows naturally when wellness, resilience and productivity reinforce each other instead of competing.

Culture as Growth Strategy

At Mind Your Power Consulting, culture is not an afterthought — it is your growth strategy.
